Some stories are designed to be seen only in fragments. A war. A decision. A statement. A consequence. TPTM Media Spain was built to work beyond those fragments — to investigate the structures, interests, and power that shape events long before they reach the surface.
The company’s vision began to take form during the Iraq War, when journalists working in high-risk environments confronted the limits of reporting one assignment at a time. The deeper story was rarely contained within a single moment. It moved across borders, through institutions, and into places where access had to be earned. What emerged was a cross-border production model built for that reality. Madrid became the base, but the reporting was never meant to stay there.
That approach has been strongly shaped by the field experience of filmmaker and journalist Carmen Marques. Over more than twenty-five years, she has reported from conflict zones and major international events across Bosnia, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Israel and the Palestinian territories, parts of Africa, and from NATO and OSCE summits where political decisions carry global consequences. That experience continues to guide TPTM Media Spain: toward stories approached with rigor, depth, and the understanding that what is visible is often only the beginning.
